GENERAL FUNCTIONALITY
- You can use Ingeniux 6.0 on a PC or Mac using Internet Explorer (versions 6, 7, and 8), Firefox (versions 2 and 3), and Safari (version 3).
- To log in, use your myBucknell user id and myBucknell password. (You no longer need Bucknell\ or @bucknell.edu.)

- The main toolbar looks like this:
![]()
- The “Go to” feature can now find pages by page number (x19) or page name (Home).
- You now have a back and forward button to navigate through the pages you’ve recently accessed.
- Your initial page view may be different. If you are editing the page or the page is assigned to your group, you may see the HTML text first, but it will be grayed out. You can still do all of your editing in the WYSIWIG editor without using the HTML button.
- To work on a page follow the steps below:

1. Go to page
2. Assign it to yourself
3. Hit the Advance Button and select Edit page (or Publish to Website, depending on what you’re doing).
4. A new box will pop up showing your “allowed transitions”. Select the transition you want (Edit page or Publish to Website).
5. Assign it to yourself (or your reviewer).
ASSETS
- The files you store in Ingeniux are now called “Assets”. (These files are the images you use on your site, documents you reference on your pages, etc.)
- Uploading is similar, but the upload button now says “Assets” instead of “Upload”.
- No “success” message is given after files are uploaded, but the new items will appear at the top of the file list.
- Additional file view options allow you to sort assets by date modified, type, size, and name.
- You can now delete uploaded files from your Ingeniux folders.
- When uploading images, you can scale the image (which changes the physical size and file size). Other image edits like cropping and color correcting must still be done in something like Photoshop *before* uploading.
WYSIWYG Editor
- The WYSIWYG Editor has been updated to a software called Tiny MCE. The basic functionality is the same, but a few of the buttons look different.

- The “Cleanup” tool no longer available. This functionality is contained in Paste as Text/Paste as Word.
- The HTML button is now located in the WYSIWYG tool bar. To save change you make to the HTML editor, hit “Update”.
- Check Spelling is now located in the WYSIWYG tool bar instead of across the top of the page in the main system toolbar, and the spelling is checked for the Body Copy only. Ingeniux 6.0 depends on your browser to check spelling in all other fields.
- New character options are available including special characters, superscript, and subscript
- The insert Image icon is a tree instead of the mountain peak in the old editor.

I haven’t tested it extensively, but it does seem to work in Chrome 2 as well.
Yes, I’ve had some success in Chrome as well, but Ingeniux is currently only offering “official support” to Internet Explorer (versions 6, 7, and 8), Firefox (versions 2 and 3), and Safari (version 3).
